A little truth behind every "just kidding"
A little knowledge behind every "I don't know"
A little worry behind every "I don't care"
And a little pain behind every "It's okay"

I wish I could write down all my favourite excerpts from this book
but then it'll probably be too long for anyone to even feel like reading them
So I'm choosing the one that I am guilty of the most and share it
For your reading pleasure..
A little girl came home from school with a drawing she'd made in class. She danced into the kitchen, where her mother was preparing dinner.
"Mom, guess what?" she squealed, waving the drawing.
Her mother never looked up.
"What?" she said, tending to the pots.
"Guess what?" the child repeated, waving the drawing.
"What?" the mother said, tending to the plates.
"Mom, you're not listening."
"Sweetie, yes I am."
"Mom," the child said, "you're not listening with your eyes."
Now start wallowing in guilt and shame all of you! I know i did...
